Ang Azofeifa is a queer artist, writer and theater director.
Focused on dance-theater and spoken word as main languages for artistic expression, Ang is a firm believer in art as a tool for social transformation.
Writing for pleasure and to make a living, Ang is also an experienced copywriter who has specialized in ad and blog content through start-ups, small businesses and big firms alike.
She/They hold(s) two B.A.’s, one attained with Honors in Dramatic Arts and a second one in English with a literature minor, both from the University of Costa Rica (UCR).
Currently based in Boston, Ang finds herself perennially conceiving work in the dance-theater realm.
They are also doing research in the mathematics in the works of Samuel Beckett as part of the thesis requirement for a Master’s degree in English literature from the UCR.
A yogi and meditator at heart, Ang engages in extensive volunteer work; mainly as Spanish-English language interpreter, as clinical and orphanage clown and mostly as an overall caregiver in diverse settings.
